The Rock Musician

The band's name BRÖSELMASCHINE was based on a phantasy appliance called Haschzerbröselmaschine and the motorbike, Jenny Schmücker's boyfriend rode. We started in 1969, playing in and around Duisburg.

The members of the band shared an appartment there. We bought our stage equipment from Procol Harum and produced our first LP in a studio in 1971. In 1973, the group disbanded after having released three albums.

Using mostly accustic instruments, we were rather well-known at the time for playing psychedelic folk rock with contemplative lyrics in both, English and German. The album first released in 1971 was re-released by the French label "Spalax Music" in 1994.
